We at Reading Horizons believe that this program has the power to change lives. The first and most important step to this end is empowering the teachers with explicit, hands-on training. When the teachers understand the method and feel confident, then they will teach it more effectively and see greater results. Heidi Hyte, our ESL Director, recently went to Mexico in order to give the teachers there this important training.

This short but informative training gives teachers the tools they need to effectively teach their students. They also learn how to use the manuals, software and other resources at their disposal to ensure success. The training in the Orton-Gillingham based program is truly invaluable.
