Branch Out Webinar
Research Supporting the New Features of Reading Horizons v5
Thursday, May 27, 2010

We at Reading Horizons are committed to presenting quality information in our quarterly Branch Out webinars. Generally, we try to keep the webinars neutral, but with the release of Reading Horizons v5, there has been an outpouring of interest in what changes have been made and the reasoning behind these changes. Whether you are a novice or a long time user of Reading Horizons, this webinar will present what research says about reading and how we have implemented that research into our new v5 software.

Success Story
"I am so very pleased with your product that I cannot keep from smiling every time I review our state test scores"
—John Hamann, Principal

Discover Intensive Phonics Benefits

Discover Intensive Phonics deals exclusively with basic reading/word attack skills. The program has a multi-sensory approach, which means that it will appeal to a student’s individual learning style – visual, auditory, tactile, or kinesthetic. The program is based on Orton-Gillingham principles of instruction.

Discover Intensive Phonics courseware was developed specifically for students aged 4-9 who exhibit below-average reading skills.

Instruction combines a mixture of daily multi-sensory direct instruction and independent work on the Discover Intensive Phonics computer software.
