Since September 2004, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth has offered educational opportunities through the Workers' Education Program. Primarily serving ESOL students, the center was looking for premier reading software to help students grasp the complexities of the English language.
Black Hawk Community College realized that a significant number of GED students struggled to read and write at college-level. Reading Horizons was brought in as an affordable research-based program to complement the existing vocabulary and comprehension program.
