University of Utah Reading Clinic

In an exciting new partnership, HEC Reading Horizons has collaborated with the University of Utah Reading Clinic (UURC) to offer Discover Intensive Phonics (DIP) workshops for educators interested in developing more effective school and tutorial phonics instruction. Two DIP workshops are currently available at the UURC’s Murray, Utah, location:

• H410 Two-Day Extended Workshop
• H420 Teacher Certification Workshop

The workshops are open enrollment and feature engaging, systematic, hands-on instruction that mimics actual classroom instruction.

Murray, Utah

Directions:

1. Take I-15 to the 5300 south exit (Exit 300).
2. (You can see a large “U of U” sign on the east side of the freeway)
3. Go east (toward Murray) on 5300 south
4. Turn north on 320 West, just east of the freeway.
5. Take the first driveway on the left past the green Cedar Park sign.
6. Continue into the complex until you see Building D on the left.
7. (Parking is free and usually quite plentiful)
8. Go to Suite D100.
