Closing the Achievement Gap in Reading: The Future of Blended Learning

Andy Franko is the Superintendent of the iConnect Zone in Colorado District 49 which includes 10 schools that provide online and blended learning. Franko holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Colorado in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in school leadership. With 15 years of experience in K-12 instruction and administration, Mr. Franko brings a diverse perspective to the creation of effective educational systems. Franko's presentation will highlight his experience with blended learning and key components for closing the achievement gap through successful implementation of this reading model.
