Join Reading Horizons as we host Donell Pons, M.Ed., MAT, for a live webcast: “Dyslexia: Best Practices for Instruction and Intervention.”
Donell's experience with dyslexia started 21 years ago when she married her undiagnosed dyslexic husband and later found that two of her four children also had dyslexia. After her son's diagnosis, dyslexia became her life's passion. As a teacher, literacy specialist, and mother, Donell is well aware of the challenges educators face when teaching and accommodating students with dyslexia.
This webcast will address:
- dyslexia evaluations
- serving students with dyslexia on IEPs and 504 Plans
- accommodations (including assistive technology)
- instructional practices that work best for students with print-based disabilities
The broadcast will begin at 6:00 PM ET. After the initial presentation, Donell will address audience questions.
