I have a student increase her lexile score by 495 points. I asked her if she is noticing a difference in her reading for classes and she said, "yes". That was a very great feeling knowing that the program is helping her become a better reader. My students do not get a grade for doing the program it is completely intrinsic rewards to be a better reader. I also have a student increase his lexile score by 195 points. I am glad to see this increases because it makes me more confident when talking to parents about my reading group and knowing I have a program to use that their child will benefit from if they invest the time.

One of my other students had this to say about the program: "I like Reading Horizons because it teaches me about vocab and how to pronounce words, It helps me with school and at home. I plan to have a career as a person who fixes dents in cars, popped tires and plan on learning more about cars. To achieve this I needed to fix my speaking a little bit and pay attention to what the teacher is saying. So that’s my story about Reading Horizons and about my plans for the future."
