Eight tracks are available for providing summer or accelerated instruction to this age group. To activate these tracks on the online software, review this guide. To connect students with the correct summer reading portal and virtual lessons, assign your students to complete the lessons for the grade they just completed, and send them the appropriate link below:

To connect students with the correct virtual lesson track, let students know which track to complete and then send them a link to the summer reading portal for grades 4+. To help you assign the correct track, refer to the descriptions below:

Track 1: Students with Alphabet Instruction Needs
This track is for students who are new to Reading Horizons and have gaps in the alphabetic principle.

Track 2: New Students - No Alphabet
This track is for students who are new to Reading Horizons but don't need explicit alphabet instruction. A brief review will be covered on Day 1.

    Track 3: Returning Students
This track is for students who have received previous Reading Horizons instruction. This track will review crucial skills at an accelerated pace for struggling students, students with frequent absences, or to prevent summer reading loss.
