Reading Horizons Review: Jessica Klonaris

Tags: Direct Instruction, Implementation, Methodology

Reading Horizons is a great intervention for our struggling readers. The lessons are well thought out, games and engaging ideas are given and the systematic layout makes sense to kids. The resources offered with each lesson save teachers time and provide a good formative assessment. My favorite part of Reading Horizons is that it helps grow students as readers.

***The above review is based on the Reading Horizons explicit phonics instruction taught in thousands of U.S. school districts. Reading Horizons publishes a variety of reading curriculum such as ELL reading instruction for non-native-English-speaking individuals and a reading intervention program for struggling readers.***
