The Development of a Student's Spelling Ability

This webinar will give an historical overview of how educational psychologists discovered the nature of children’s spelling development, what that development looks like, and how it mirrors reading development. Dr. Ann C. Sharp

Dr. Ann C. Sharp has 12 years of classroom experience teaching literacy to children and adults. In 2006 she received her doctorate in Educational Psychology with a focus in the science of reading, graduating with distinction and winning Dissertation of the Year Award for her research on spelling development in young children.
