Working Together to Address Dyslexia in the Classroom


With recent dyslexia-specific legislation, parents in most states now have broader support to get their children the help they need in the classroom. Of course, when it comes to supporting a student with dyslexia, having legislation does not guarantee that a student will receive appropriate instruction and intervention.

In celebration of Dyslexia Awareness Month, Reading Horizons has brought together a panel of parents and educators of students with dyslexia to discuss specific steps to support students and constructive solutions for addressing dyslexia in the classroom.
